This function can be used to delete entries from the translation file, which are either no longer necessary or which are wrong or have been stored there "by accident". The function is also very useful, if you want to "inspect" the contents of the translation file, in particular, if you are looking for a specific translation, and if you do not want to generate a complete report (see F5=Reports). To activate this function, open the F10=Customize pull-down menu and select the option Translation file.
- Initially, an Organ selection box will be displayed, including all organs currently present in the translation file. The list is sorted alphabetically.

Customize translation file function: Selection box for organs.
- Use the cursor keys to select an organ and press Enter; press Esc to exit the function.
- After selecting an organ, all lesions related to the selected organ (i.e. the original terms derived from your import source file(s)) are shown in alphabetical order (see the screen shot below).
Screen layout

Customize translation file function: List of lesions for the organ Pituitary.
- The current Organ is displayed in the top frame of the selection box.
- The upper part of the selection box shows the list of lesions: Lesions for which a translation exist, are printed in upper case letters and placed first in the list; they are marked in addition by an asterisk in the right column. Lesions, which are not considered for translation, are printed in lower case letters and are marked by the "-" character.
- In the gray area below the "Find" line, the program displays how the diagnosis which is currently marked by the cursor has been translated:
- The organ name is shown together with abbreviations for "examination of the organ" and "multiplicity" in parenthesis (see Abbreviations).
- The lesion is shown including its biological behavior in parenthesis (see Abbreviations).
- If modifiers have been used they are also listed.
